i've been to plenty of dentists and i can say hands down this was the best place i've been too. i've had dentists be rude and unprofessional but here, they are ALL so very kind and helped me through everything. If you need work done this is the place to go!
Dr Johal is great, I've had good experiences with all the hygienists and admin staff as well.
Dr Sukhi is the best dentist I've ever had. She is honest, professional and very kind. Since I have started with her I really enjoy going to the dentist. The place is neat, tidy and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. 100% recommended!

The staff are always so welcoming and warm. Our entire family is grateful to Doctor Mitani and staff for taking such good care of us. Since I was a kid I was always so nervous when it comes to dentist appointments, but since finding Doctor Mitani's office I no longer feel the anxiety I felt before.
I'm a relatively new patient who has nothing but great compliments for this place. Everyone is so kind, Friendly and patient. I love being able to walk in and get greeted by name. I made a comment to Tina today that I felt like I was at a spa not the dentist. ( Megan Baillie). Thank you for a great experience every time!
I've been a patient here for 10 years, and have seen all of the dentists and most of the hygienists here. I have always been treated with care and compassion. No one enjoys the dentist but this team is an excellent example of how to make a difficult situation easier with kindness and patience.
The dentists and all the staff here are very friendly and you always feel well taken care of. Dr. Johal is my dentist. She is not only a wonderful dentist but she is a very nice lady. Every time I see her I know that she will take good care of my teeth issues and im less stressed out. So if you are in need of a good family dental place this is definitely the best place to go!!!
Great for both adults and children! My young daughter wasn't sure what to expect at the dentist, and both the dentist and hygienist went above and beyond explaining all their steps and tools to her and making her feel so comfortable! Plus she loved that they had a TV in the ceiling ;). Highly recommend!
First time visiting today and I couldn't be happier. Dental appointments have always been a source of panic and anxiety for me, and this experience has changed my mind completely. From start to finish the staff makes you feel welcome and completely at ease. 10/10 would recommend.
From the first phone call I made to this dental office until the time I walked out of my first appointment every single staff member I encountered were all so kind and caring. Our family has been going to South Pointe Dental for over 5 years now and have nothing but good things to say. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, you are met with friendly staff and a clean, modern environment! Dr. Mitani is knowledgeable and gentle and our kids love her too! The hygienist team is also top notch! Family-friendly and great location! I'd give more stars if I could!

They have always been great with my regular cleanings and maintenance, but my recent experience demonstrated the entire teams dedication to their patients. I unfortunately developed fairly quick onset "Biblical" tooth pain. Steven King horror movie kind of pain! Dr. Johal came in on a Saturday (she was also on her holidays) to see me. Dr. Mitani came in on Sunday to see me again, then Dr. Sabet saw me on Monday to exorcise the possessed tooth! Although the experience was a nightmare, the whole team at South Pointe did absolutely everything they could to see that I was taken care of. I couldn't imagine a better place for anyone to go!
South Pointe Dental has been amazing to me and my friends that I've recommended them to. This is the first dental office where I feel like I'm actually being told what's going on with my mouth! Dr. Johal and the admin staff have always been amazing.
Best dental clinic I've ever been to. Amazing, kind staff that takes COVID precautions seriously! Got multiple fillings and I'm very satisfied with the results and felt comfortable and pain free during the appointment. I'll be getting all my cleanings done here!

It was my first visit for a general examination and the service was so good I was afraid it would cost me at least a million, because this is what this service is worth. Fantastic, friendly, and professional people, moreover humorous and beyond tolerant toward my endless gag attempts.
Everyone was so friendly, professional and efficient! Great experience, hygienists are great, Dr Johal's knowledge and experience are awesome and they are all so nice. Take the time to explain things and answer any questions. Had a check up (very thorough!), cleaning and another appointment for a filling- which was quick, painless and well done! Glad I found this place :)
Been going here for the past 3 years. Absolutely love this place...I have never been to a place where all the staff are consistently warm, kind and professional. Accessibility: located in a strip mall off of Pembina hwy with ample FREE parking. Office: The waiting room is clean and seats 10 people (3 during covid). They are often able to accommodate families together (they have many staff) and they also have awesome hours with evening appointments available! There are TVs in the area where you get your teeth cleaned...can't speak much about anywhere else, as I've not seen the rest of the office :) ...but I am sure it is just as awesome! Staff: from the front receptionists desk to the back, all the staff are super friendly and work efficiently. I am not one of those people who is "scared of the dentist" but I've had bad experiences at other offices before with hygienists being rough. Not here...everyone is so good and I've seen different professionals...they will usually get you in with the same person, but if you need a certain date or time, they will accommodate you (schedule permitting). Covid updates: upon arrival, you call the office to ensure you can enter (if you don't have a phone, just pop your head in, they will communicate with you!), you are then directed to use their hand sanitizer and fill out a Covid-19 Covid-19 questionnaire. After, your temp is taken via an infrared thermometer. You then have a seat and when you're called back, you're given a rinse that you swish around your mouth for 15 seconds and spit into the cup. I arrived with mask and was able to remove it once in the hygienists chair. Overall great experience and will definitely be coming back again!
I Had one of the best dentist experiences yesterday, I normally avoid going to the dentist but I was made to feel completely comfortable, the dentists are gentle, calm and they take their time to explain in depth. One thing I really love is how the dentist will explain exactly what they are doing in your mouth which puts you at ease. Thank you to the two amazing dentists who helped me out.

Dr Johal is absoloutely amazing to deal with. Our whole family has been seeing her for a few years now. She is fast, efficient, knowledgeable and kind. Her staff is Amazing! We as a family highly recommend Dr.Johal at South Pointe!!!!
I broke my tooth, and the group took me right away. Dr Mitanii skillset was excellent, bedside demeanour was kind and empathetic. Absolutely no pain throughout the procedure to rebuild my tooth. I am no longer afraid of appointments!

Yesterday I just went to South Pointe Dental for the first time and I can easy say it was the great experience. Dentist Dr.Sherri Mitani fixed my tooth - it was a very gentle and professional service. She is an excellent dentist and the staff is also amazing. I will absolutely come back. I recommend this dentist to anyone looking for new dentist.
The reviews don't lie. They are really great over here. Came in and was taken care of right away, no waiting. Friendly smiles everywhere. Helena was great and the dental assistant too, if only I was able to catch her name. I was assigned to Dr. Anis Sabet and after I met him I received both a dentist's evaluation as well as a counseling session for those teeth clenching stressors. All in all a great team from front desk to the dentists. Ooooh, and free wi-fi!
My family and I had recently changed to this dental office. We had been very pleased with the pleasant, courteous and helpful office staff, as well as the hygienists and the dentists. Angela is our favourite hygienist. Dr Johal is friendly, knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything to us. We have not ever had to wait more than 10 minutes at an appointment. They will direct bill your insurance company. I would highly recommend this office if you are looking for a new dentist.
If you are looking for a new dental office to call home, do not hesitate to come here! By FAR the BEST dental practice I have ever sat put in. Dr. Sukhi Johal and her team are the best. Getting two crowns for my front teeth after a root canal was the most nerve racking decision I've had to make, but Dr. Johal was very involved throughout. She understood the importance, went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and at times were I thought I was happy, she would instantly pick up on the little doubt, gave her opinion and continued trying till BOTH OF US was happy (goes to show how intuitive and genuine she and her staff are). At this clinic you aren't just another customer/client, they all treat you like long time friends. I would rate 10stars and more if I could.
Theresa is the best! I'm a suck when it comes to going to the dentist and she always makes the experience tolerable! Dr. Mitani is pretty good too! 😁
I gave 5 stars cos I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. As someone new to the country, I have been avoiding the dentist for a long time. But Dr. Mithani made things very easy and comfortable for me. Also the receptionists and the rest of the staff have been very respectful and friendly. Love this place!
This is the 4th dentist office I've ever been to in my life, and absolutely my favourite. The staff are friendly and Dr. Johal is absolutely the best dentist I've ever had. I love that she explains and discusses options with me rather than just dictating to me what I need done.

I want to SHOUT OUT to everyone about the amazing Dr. Johal and her friendly staff at South Pointe Dental. She is gentle, knowlegeble, very friendly and truly cares about you (will not force extra services on you). My family HATED going to the dentist...until we discovered Dr. Johal a few years ago. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
